Fuse Energy referral questions

Referral and eligibility

What is the current Fuse Energy referral code?

The referral code shown on this page is NAISHADH79514. Enter it while signing up directly through Fuse, before completing the onboarding process. The code must be used while the referral campaign is active.

How does the Fuse Energy referral work?

An eligible new customer signs up directly with Fuse and enters the referral code during onboarding. After the switch is completed and the new customer pays the first full-month bill by its due date, Fuse applies £100 as credit against later energy charges. The reward is subject to the current official campaign terms.

Is the Fuse Energy referral code legitimate?

Fuse runs an official customer referral programme and provides existing customers with unique referral codes. This website is an independent customer guide, not an official Fuse website. You can verify the programme, reward and eligibility rules using the official Fuse referral article and terms linked below.

How much is the Fuse Energy referral reward?

The current referral reward is £100 in Fuse account credit for an eligible new customer. It is a flat reward, so moving both gas and electricity does not increase it to £200.

Is the £100 reward cash or a discount?

It is bill credit, not cash and not a discount on the tariff rate. Fuse uses the £100 credit to reduce later energy charges until it has been used. It cannot be withdrawn, refunded or exchanged for cash.

When will I receive the £100 Fuse referral credit?

The credit is not normally added as soon as you submit the switch. You must complete the eligible switch and pay for your first full month of Fuse energy by the bill's due date. Fuse can show the reward as pending while it waits for and processes that payment.

Where do I enter the Fuse Energy referral code?

Fuse says the code is entered towards the end of its direct onboarding process, after the property has been signed up. Enter it before completing sign-up and check that it has been accepted. Do not assume it can be added after the switch request has been submitted.

Can I add a Fuse referral code after signing up?

You should enter the code during sign-up. Fuse states that the referral code must be used while the campaign is live and as part of the eligible onboarding process. If you have already submitted a switch without it, contact Fuse support promptly, but do not assume the code can be applied retrospectively.

Can I use a Fuse referral code through USwitch or GoCompare?

No, not under the current referral rules. Fuse excludes new customers who join through a Price Comparison Website and specifically names USwitch and GoCompare as examples. If you want the referral credit, complete the switch through Fuse's own website, app or eligible referral route.

Can an existing Fuse customer use the referral code?

No. The person using the code must be a new Fuse customer who has not previously held a Fuse contract. Existing customers may be able to refer other eligible people, but they cannot use another referral code to receive a new-customer reward.

Who is eligible for the Fuse Energy referral offer?

The referred person must be new to Fuse, use the code during direct sign-up, join during an active campaign and switch at least one eligible import electricity or gas supply. They must not join through a comparison website and must pay the first full-month bill by its due date. The current official terms contain the complete rules.

When does this Fuse Energy referral offer end?

This website currently shows the offer until 17 October 2026. Referral campaigns can change, so the campaign period and terms published by Fuse determine whether a sign-up qualifies.

Switching and tariffs

Can I compare energy prices before using the referral code?

Yes. Comparing energy prices before switching is sensible. Look at Fuse's estimated annual cost, electricity and gas unit rates, daily standing charges, tariff length and exit fees. If you then choose Fuse and want the referral reward, start the actual switch directly with Fuse rather than through the comparison website.

Is Fuse Energy cheap?

That depends on your postcode, meter, tariff and energy usage. A £100 referral credit can reduce future bills, but it does not automatically make Fuse the cheapest energy supplier. Compare the full annual cost of the tariff using your real yearly consumption before deciding.

What should I compare when switching energy supplier in the UK?

Compare estimated annual cost using the same usage figures, electricity and gas unit rates, standing charges, tariff type, contract length, exit fees and payment method. Use a recent bill to find your actual annual consumption. Treat the referral credit as a one-off benefit after comparing the underlying tariff.

Does Fuse Energy offer fixed and variable tariffs?

Yes. Fuse currently advertises fixed, variable and multi-rate tariffs. Fixed tariffs hold the quoted rates for a stated period, while variable rates can change. Multi-rate tariffs charge different prices at different times and may require a compatible meter. Check the exact rates and conditions in your quote.

Can I switch gas and electricity to Fuse?

Fuse supplies both gas and import electricity, subject to the property and meter being eligible. The current referral reward remains £100 whether you move one eligible supply or both. Export-only electricity supply does not qualify for the referral reward.

Do I need a smart meter to switch to Fuse Energy?

Not for every standard tariff. Fuse says some customers with a compatible manual meter can switch first and request a smart-meter upgrade later. Multi-rate and time-of-use tariffs may require a compatible connected meter. Confirm your meter type with Fuse when requesting a quote.

How long does switching to Fuse Energy take?

Fuse advertises that its online sign-up can take under three minutes, but that is only the application process. The actual transfer of your energy supply takes longer and Fuse will confirm the switch date. Its switching guidance says the wider process typically takes up to five working days.

Will my gas or electricity be interrupted when I switch?

A normal supplier switch should not interrupt the physical supply to your home. The pipes, cables and meter stay in place while the account moves between suppliers. Follow any instructions about meter readings and check the confirmed switch date and final bill from your previous supplier.

Can I refer myself or use the code twice?

No. Fuse does not allow self-referrals, and only one referral code can be added to an account. The person using the code must be entering a referral code for the first time under the current campaign rules.
